Message to Our Valued Patients:
ADG Dental on West Broadway's number one priority is the health and safety of our patients and staff. The doctors have been monitoring the COVID-19 (coronavirus) situation closely. Following the guidelines set out by the CDSBC for all dentists in the province, we will only being seeing patients with dental emergency.
Dr. Bonnie Henry has written directly to all healthcare workers directing them to restrict all non-emergency procedures until further notice. We are to provide emergent care only (as defined below by our regulatory bodies) in order to avoid further community spread of the virus.
Emergency dental care is defined as potentially life-threatening conditions requiring immediate management or treatment to stop ongoing tissue bleeding, alleviate severe pain or infection and include:
– Cellulitis as a result of uncontrolled infection compromising the airway
– Severe uncontrolled hemorrhage (bleeding)
– Trauma to the orofacial complex especially to facial bones that potentially compromise the patient’s airway.
– Uncontrolled severe pain
– Uncontrolled infection
